Has a good edge, no nicks, refer to the picture it shows a mark-a line on front part of blade,looks like its scratch, i have had them where they split, but its not split, but anyway i am discounting it for that mark, has good bamboo design handles, good old razor would say is dates back to late 1800 to early 1900,s shipping 5.75
